It is widely accepted that our lives can be separated into seven major categories. At Bonfire, we refer to these as the Lifetime Value Accounts. These are the accounts into which you divide and invest your limited resources (Time, Energy, Focus and Money).
They are as follows:
- Physical
- Spiritual
- Financial
- Intellectual
- Familial
- Vocational
- Recreational/Social
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS: Your Spark Journaling Exercises:
Each day, you will be asked to answer two questions pertaining to one category of Seven Lifetime Value Account categories.
This means you will answer a different Lifetime Value Account category each day of that first week. In other words, you will be answering the same two questions all week, but each day you will be answering them for a different category of your life.
For example: If it’s Day One, you would answer the question as it relates to your Physical Lifetime Value Account.
Question: With whom or what should I have more gratitude and appreciation for today?
Again, because it’s Day One, your answer would pertain to the Physical category and record it in your journal that day.
Answer: “I am grateful that I have begun the Bonfire Health program, and I am excited to see how my health will change and what my body will look like as I continue to commit to moving my body every day.”
If you were on Day Two, you would be answering the same question, but this time in the Spiritual category:
Question: With whom or what should I show more gratitude and appreciation for today?
Because you are on Day Two, you would answer in relation to the Spiritual category of your Lifetime Value Accounts.
Answer: “I am so thankful that I am taking the time to record my thoughts each day. These exercises are really helpful and I am experiencing a greater understanding of how I react to situations.”
