1 cup pitted dates
1 cup organic raisins
1 cup raw almonds
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup shredded coconut
2 Tbsp raw carob
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
2 Tbsp raw honey
- Place dates and raisins in food processor and blend into small pieces.
- Add the almonds, oats, coconut, and carob powder.
- Blend until the mixture resembles bread crumbs.
- Add the extracts and honey.
- Stop the machine, and check if the texture is correct by taking a small amount into the palm of your hand and roll into a ball. If the mixture does not bind, add extra honey or some apple juice.
